It was born in the field, from real experiences of missed opportunities and complicated adjustments. Quigley-Ford Long Range Scopes was created by Randy Ford’s lifetime of passion for hunting and innovation.

A lifelong hunter and innovator from Ontario, Canada, Randy is inspired by over 50 years of experience in the field.

Randy saw firsthand how traditional scopes were slowing hunters down and causing them to miss crucial shots. His solution—Custom-Etched Reticle scopes—eliminates the need for turret adjustments.

Worked his first sportsman show.

Co-founded the Canadian Taxidermists Association.

Won the Masters Award for Best Fish Mount in National Competition.

Developed the Wizzard Black Box as President of Pacific Electronics Research Inc.

Became President of Walker Downriggers Inc., leading the company for 18 years.

Invented and developed the Strike Vision underwater trolling camera system.

Developed the Quigley-Ford etched ballistic reticle long-range riflescopes.

Quigley-Ford scope earned the highest rating in Field & Stream’s Best of the Best contest.

Issued U.S. Patent #D943050 for the Dual Focal Plane Riflescope Reticle System.

Leadership & Conservation

Founded the GTAA Conservation Club and chaired the Georgian Triangle Spring Trout Derby.
Served 3 years as Chair of the Wildlife Subcommittee on the Ontario Fish & Wildlife Advisory Board.
Operated the Tiny Marsh Provincial Conservation Area pheasant hunt.

Product Development

Invented Walker Deeper Divers (sinking) and Walker TripZ-Diver (floating).
Designed and patented TripZ-Lip Lures and the Slayer Broadhead designs.
Introduced North America to the first Inverted Level Wind (WTD 300) trolling reels.

Entrepreneurship

Co-owned a charter boat sport fishing operation and a dry-land marine sales business.
Ran his own hunting and fishing retail store for 17 years.

Personal Pursuits

For over 30 years, he bred and hunted Brittany Spaniels.
